At Beat Route Radio we love attending live events and providing our Outside Broadcast Facilities.
Here are a few of the events we’ve attended so far:
ALFRED STREET SCHOOL
We attended Alfred Street Schools Summer fair and provided live music, commentary and outside broadcast, this was our first OSB and it’s fair to say it wasn’t without issues! But we had a great day and kept everybody happy and dancing on a very hot day, even Batman dropped in to say hello.
PARTY IN THE PARK
What can we say, a blisteringly hot day and 6 hours of Live outside broadcasting from the event.
We conducted 16 15-20 minute interviews with fellow exhibitors, community groups and local politicians, it was a fantastic day and we’ve been asked to attend again next year and play a much bigger role in the proceedings, so see you later in the year?
Over 10 hours of introducing bands, interviewing the bands and 11 hours of Live broadcasting from Hall Park.
An absolutely fantastic day and again, we’ve been asked back if the event is repeated and to play a bigger role.
It rained, it was soaking but we kept spirits high, the Beat Route tent was very popular! (This photo was after the event as we broke everything down)
HIGHAM FERRERS “SPARKLE”
Another hugely popular event, 6 hours of live broadcast with an amazing bunch of people and such a great atmosphere, again, we’ll be back next year!
(L-R: James Murray, Redders, Karen Stigter, Colin Hanslip)
RUSHDEN HISTORICAL TRANSPORT SOCIETY
What a superb day of great live music from local bands, not to mention the copious types of draught beer available, oh and did I mention the food? Think I put about a stone on during the day!
Big thanks to John, Fiona and Simon for making it such a superb day. Not forgetting our very own Sharon Louise for pulling it all together.
SPURGEONS “SPLASH AND DASH” AT RUSHDEN LAKES
Probably the most fun event we’ve covered so far, we event entered our own “Beat Route” team in to the races, and we were robbed!!
6 Hours of live broadcast and Redders ended up spending the whole day as the Number 1 Commentator, sounding just like Crofty from F1!!
Interviews, commentary, music, fun facts, copious amounts of tea thanks to the Ladies from Spurgeons, we’ll be back!
WEST-END DIY OPEN DAY WITH HIGH ST TRADERS.
Another mad hot day with 6 hours of live Outside Broadcasting supporting local traders and helping to raise awareness of those products and services available on our High Street.
Face painting, Reptiles, Snakes, Ice Creams, local food suppliers, its amazing what’s on the High Street if you take the time to look.
Support local traders, you’ll miss them if they go.
